If you have given or received a marriage proposal, will you share the story?
Actually, I have. It was at work, when my friend Mike was asking people his "question of the day", which are usually a little to quite inappropriate in nature, and today it was "would you ever have a threesome?" Of course my answer to that was no, because I want to wait to have sex until I am married. To this Mike replied, "Sue, will you marry me?" Obviously, I've never received a serious marriage proposal. Only ever talked about it, and as I'm currently single, it definitely didn't work out. And weirdly, I couldn't be happier. =)

oh! oh! i have one!
thane and i went back to the park where we had our first "date" (unofficially). we grabbed southwest hoagies from sheetz on the way, and ate them by vanilla-scented candlelight under the stars. i got cold, thane pulled the blanket out of the duffle he'd brought, and i looked for orion... when i looked back, there was a homemade (rather, a camp-made), hand-painted, heart-shaped box nestled among the candles. when i opened it, i found a poem written by thane. it was written in 10th grade as his first sonnet and it was called "to my future wife." there was a smaller box inside the bigger box, and i opened it to find my grandmother's engagement ring. that was when thane took the ring from me and said, "abby quigley, will you marry me?" i said yes, and then we kissed our very first kiss. (swoon)
hahahh i love that. i love asking people if they'll marry me, and you know i went to france and got married on the eiffel tower, michelle and i have the rings to prove it! but i lost mine so that doesn't count.
but in order to have a threesome with your work buddy wouldn't that mean you have to like.. become a polygamist?
